The aptitude check is aimed at people who are interested in technical professions but are still unsure about their career orientation or aptitude.

Contents of the aptitude check

Participants will receive a USB stick and accompanying scripts that prepare the content in an understandable way. The transfer of knowledge takes place in a group setting with individual support from our lecturers.

The training includes various modules that prepare for the application process in a practical way:

  1. Personal strengths and weaknesses analysis

  2. Review and optimisation of existing documents

  3. Assessment Center Training

  4. Self-tests and language tests

  5. Learning techniques and learning behaviour

  6. Technical professions at a glance

The measure supports the participants in clarifying their professional goals, recognizing individual strengths and overcoming possible obstacles. We prepare specifically for job interviews, telephone interviews and assessment centers.

For people with a migration background, language skills at telc German B1 level and at least a lower secondary school leaving certificate are required. If necessary, we carry out written and oral language tests.

Target group
  • employable jobseekers with or without a migrant background
  • Minimum age 18 years
  • for participants with a migration background: proof of German language skills of at least language level B1 and at least a lower secondary school leaving certificate
  • Costs covered by the Employment Agency or Job Centre, self-payers
Course Objective

The aim is to determine the suitability of participants for the field of technical professions.
At the end of the course, participants receive a certificate as well as an aptitude assessment for the technical field.
