Information about the course

  • Employees (or shortly before taking up employment, with an employment contract)
    Attendance
  • Persons in labour market preparation measures, e.g. measures with the employer (MAG), measures with the provider (MAT)
  • Start at verifiable language level A2 or B1
  • Workplace-related, targeted language acquisition leads to a sense of achievement within a short time and motivates employees.
  • Employees train situation-related communication at the workplace, such as order confirmations, hazard briefings,
    nursing admission interview.
  • Learning content is determined in consultation with the employer.
  • The specifically required language actions are deepened after this individual language needs analysis.
  • The language teaching offer is tailor-made through individual language coaching (5 units) including learning advice and targeted feedback from the teacher.
  • Trainers in the company/specialist lecturers can teach in tandem with the language teacher (“team teaching”).
  • Small courses are possible (from three participants, seven are aimed at for reasons of practicability).
  • Training centres can be set up directly with employers (minimum standards: accessibility, sufficient tables and chairs, blackboard, etc.).
  • As a rule, participation is free of charge – even for employees with a taxable annual income of up to 20,000 euros (40,000 euros in the case of jointly
    Invested). In addition, there is a personal contribution of 256 euros for a course with 100 units. The costs can be covered by the employer.
  • A specific activity must be given (workplace with the employer or in the measure).
  • Employer involvement is important (leave of absence, enabling teacher observation).
